Public transport
From Eindhoven railway station, take bus 157 towards Oss, bus 4 towards Heesterakker, or bus 3 towards Blixembosch-West. These lines pass by the Student Sports Centre. Get off at the “Rachelsmolen” stop in Eindhoven. From this stop, it is only a 2-minute walk.
Real sports enthusiasts will, of course, walk from the station. Exit the station on the bus side and walk between the two tall buildings on your right, past the bowling artwork to the traffic lights. Now cross the road towards the semi-circular building of the Chamber of Commerce (“kennispoort”) and follow the so-called Limbopad; this is the hill path with the posts along it, you are now on the TU/e campus. Continue along the Limbopad until you cross the small bridge and see a red cycle path on your left that runs alongside the river. Follow this cycle path all the way to the end, where you will see the Student Sports Centre on your left.
It takes about fifteen minutes to walk there. If you do happen to get lost on campus, there are plenty of signs with a map.
Private transport
Of course, you can also come by your own means of transport. There is sufficient parking space around the sports centre, but parking on the TU/e campus is subject to a charge. A270 from the direction of Helmond
At the second traffic lights in Eindhoven (roundabout), turn right towards Ring / Universiteit / Den Bosch / Tilburg. Immediately afterwards, turn left onto the university grounds. Then turn right at the end of the road, left at the end of the road, and right at the crossroads. You can park along this road; the SSC is now in front of you.
A2 from Maastricht and A67 from Venlo and Antwerp
At the Leenderheide junction, follow signs for Centrum / Tongelre. You will enter Eindhoven at a roundabout. Continue straight ahead and at the second traffic lights (junction with the ring road) follow the signs for Nijmegen / Den Bosch. Continue in that direction (over the canal and under the railway). Immediately after the next roundabout, turn left onto the university campus. Then turn right at the end of the road, left at the end of the road, and right at the junction. You can park along this road; the SSC is now in front of you.
A58 from the direction of Tilburg
At the Batadorp junction, take the Randweg Eindhoven (Noord) / Centrum exit and then, at the Ekkersweijer junction, take the Randweg Eindhoven / Centrum exit. Continue to follow the signs for Centrum. At the junction with the Ring (traffic lights), turn left towards Helmond and then immediately right onto the parallel road. After about 200 metres, you will be at the rear of the SSC. You can park your car on the right-hand side of the parallel road and use the footpath/cycle path to reach the entrance on the other side of the building.
A2 from the direction of Den Bosch
At the Ekkersweijer junction, take the A58 towards Centrum. Continue to follow the signs for Centrum. At the junction with the Ring (traffic lights), turn left towards Helmond and then immediately right onto the parallel road. After about 200 metres, you will be at the rear of the SSC. You can park your car on the right-hand side of the parallel road and use the footpath/cycle path to reach the entrance on the other side of the building.
N265 from Nijmegen
When entering Eindhoven, take the second exit on the left (Centrum / Tongelre) and continue to follow the signs for Centrum. At the intersection with the Ring (traffic lights), turn left towards Helmond and then immediately right onto the parallel road. After about 200 metres, you will be at the rear of the SSC. You can park your car on the right-hand side of the parallel road and use the footpath/cycle path to reach the entrance on the other side of the building.
