Meet the new trainer, Nasim Hello good day, I am from Iran and currently first year student in Netherlands. I’ve been playing professionally 15 years and I’ve been Iran top player and national team for 9 solid years and also I’m among top players in Netherlands I’ve participated in many international tournaments and won many titles. I am not interested in keeping pets with me. I usually read books and hang out with friends in my spare time. Also I really enjoy playing piano. The first half of the competition season is approaching its end. This year we have five teams playing for Panache, and all teams are doing very well. Here is an overview of the results:

Panache is the studenten badminton association of Eindhoven! New students (Fontys, TU/e, or other higher educations) are more than welcome to give our training a tryout to see if our association is something for you. You can join our playing evening two times for free before we ask you to become a member. Note: even for a tryout, you are required to have an active sports card at the Student Sports Center (SSC). We officially have a new trainer: Ananda! Ananda has been a member of Panache for a few years now, and will from now on help Eli and Ana with Open and Advanced Training. He has a big passion for badminton and really knows all fundamentals. If you have any questions about badminton, from tactics to technique: Ananda will gladly help you :)

The competition season has already come to an end. Our 3 teams this year did very well, but more importantly, all teams had a fun badminton season. Here are their results:

We from Panache like to play badminton matches, and moreover, we also like to put our skills to the test every now and then. That is precisely the reason why we like to join competitions and tournaments! In order to join tournaments here in the Netherlands, you are required to have a so-called "Badminton Nederland number" (BN-number for short). There are a few tournaments for which you don't need a BN-number, such as the Panache Tournament and the Stuban tournament. This BN-number can only be obtained through Panache. A BN-number costs around €15,- per year. Upon filling in the membership form for Panache, you have the option to choose between Competition (€55,-), Recreant (€40,-), and Contributor (€25,-). Competition and Recreant members get a BN-number, Contributors do not. Hence if you subscribed…
